LeVaughn -Tier 2

LeVaughn McPherson began her Doula journey after saying yes to being constantly called to and referenced as a Doula while completing her last year of training as an Ordained Interfaith Reverend. Birth Doula work is now a part of her ministry as both an Interfaith Reverend & Counselor. She is sought after for her calm and reassuring demeanor and for helping women that are pregnant develop confidence in themselves, their bodies and the process of birth. LeVaughn supports families in navigating the process of birth by imparting information that helps a family make informed decisions along the way so that they may be empowered in their journey.

LeVaughn is certified and trained in a variety of disciplines including Reiki, Theta Healing, Counseling, Meditation, CPR, Trauma Informed Care and Scientifically Peer Reviewed Evidenced Based Practices towards Birthing and Breastfeeding, which assists in Advocacy towards individualized care using updated standards of practice in Medicine. She also leans on her background in Management, Negotiation & Research to create a harmonious birthing experiencing where all who are present feel heard and have their needs fulfilled while upholding safety and best practices that also honor the sacredness of pregnancy and birth.

Driven by her experiences as a mother of two adult males, she has a love for personal choice, individuality, and equity and provides non judgmental support that serves any personality, any background or belief in a compassionate and safe way.

When not serving as a Doula, LeVaughn serves as a Celebrant – offering customized Mother’s Blessings & Baby Blessings and other customized ceremonies that create an intimate celebration of mom and baby before and/or after the experience of Birth. The Blessings offer healing, bonding, and a true personal and meaningful embrace of the journey of Motherhood and also blesses the journey of the new life that has been born to the world.
